Tom Davies Design Team came to our practice a couple of weeks ago to do further training with our Dispensing Opticians. They all had a very interesting day with the Tom Davies Design Team being shown how the frames are made, as well as learning the art of how to bespoke a frame. We can proudly announce they have now reached level 2 with Tom Davies.

What is a Bespoke frame?

A bespoke frame is a pair of spectacles designed for you by your optician in collaboration with Tom Davies. You can change the shape, colour and material type to suit your needs.

What does a bespoke consultation involve?

Each consultation starts with a frame from Tom's extensive ready to wear collection. We will then take a series of detailed measurements. If you are looking to change the shape of the frame, we will take a series of photos for Tom's designers. Stylistically we will guide you through the perfect frame, how should it work with your face shape, the way it sits on your face, the types of material and the details you can change. The consultation itself is the ultimate experience for a spectacle wearer.
