From Kathryn Stott to Bayfields ...
... A New Name but the Same People and Service
You may notice in November that Kathryn Stott Optometrists becomes Bayfields Opticians, but I hope you’ll be reassured to know that only our name is changing. The ownership is the same, all the staff you're used to are still with us, and you’ll continue to get the same personal, expert attention and wide choice of products and styles.
So why the name change?
Since we took over Kathryn Stott Optometrists in August 2009, we’ve worked hard to ensure you receive exactly the same level of care at all our branches. Unifying our branding reflects our commitment to giving you a consistently excellent service that you can trust, wherever you visit us.
Listening, so we really understand your needs
Whichever branch you go to, you’ll always be seen by a qualified optometrist or optician for the whole appointment, even when choosing your frames. It’s unusual, but it allows our experts to really get to know you so they can advise you on the very best eyewear for your lifestyle. If you’re sporty, for example, you may benefit from prescription swimming goggles, sports spectacles or sunglasses.
Get the latest products first
If you prefer contact lenses, you’ll be pleased to know our optometrists have in-depth knowledge of the latest innovations. In fact, we’re often one of the first opticians to be offered new products.
Using advanced technology to detect issues early
When I said nothing’s changed, that’s not strictly true. If you haven’t visited us for over a year, you may not have been offered an OCT – a detailed scan of your eye. Our instrument is one of only 40 in the country and detects the very early onset of conditions such as glaucoma. It's not the only state-of-the-art equipment we use but, whatever your appointment involves, you’ll always get a clear explanation of what we’re doing and why.
If you'd like any further information about our new branding, or if you have questions or comments about our service to you, contact us at Bayfields Opticians or call us on 0113 250 5894.
