Welcome to our practice. We hope that you will find something here to interest you, whether you already know us, or are visiting for the first time. We are an independently owned optician's practice established in Yeadon, near Leeds for over 40 years. The practice was previously owned by Kathryn Stott, an Optometrist who has worked here for over 20 years, and was recently sold to Mr. Royston Bayfield and Mrs. Louise Bartlam, the owners of Bayfield & Bartlam Opticians in Headingley and University Vision Opticians in the University of Leeds.  Mr. Bayfield BSc(Hons) MCOptom, also an Optometrist, worked for Kathryn Stott in his pre-registration  year. Mrs. Bartlam FBDO, a Dispensing Optician, has worked at University Vision for the past 18 years. They first became practice owners in January 2004, when they bought University Vision, shortly followed by the purchase of Bayfield & Bartlam in January 2006.

We provide personal, friendly Eyecare for all the family.  Comprehensive Eye Examinations are supported by the latest diagnostic instruments. Spectacle Lenses by Zeiss, Rodenstock and Nikon are recommended and used extensively. We stock "designer" frames as well as wide choice for those on a limited budget. Contact Lenses are a particular speciality of the practice.
